SHOWROOM SUPERVISOR

Role:

  • Responsible for supervision of overall sales and management of Philux retail shops
  • Reports to Sales Supervisor and VP for Sales and Business Development
  • Upholds the Philux brand as a qualified representative that carries out excellent customer service

Role:

  • Directs and supervises retail staff across several retail outlets to ensure they meet set objectives

Quality Control Supervisor

Location: Philux Head Office and Factory

Role:

  • Coordinate all activities required to direct and control manufacturing quality. In particular, to review product quality requirements for individual clients and projects and to ensure those requirements are understood and implemented.
  • Establish inspection protocols, adhere to a defined set of quality criteri,a and meet the requirements of the client or customer on the construction of furniture pieces for made to order projects, product development and regular items.
  • Ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently and make sure goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.
  • Continuously review quality control processes, procedures and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements, and making recommendation for improvement as appropriate.
  • Review client QC requirements and ensure that quality control documentation for a project meets contractual requirements.
  • Monitor the production processes, ensure the production is cost effective, decide what resources are required and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Monitor and report quality control progress, notifying any predicted shortfall or discrepancies against timescale and budgets.
  • Relay immediate notification to the Plant Manager of any issues and provide accurate and relevant information as required by the company.
  • Assist the Plant Manager with customer complaint investigations, corrective action plans, and generation of response letters to customers.
  • Facilitate effective communication on quality control and production safety matters across all plant functional leaders i.e. Supervisors, maintenance, sanitation and inventory control.
  • Investigate complaints and determine cause. Consult with production staff to correct deficiencies, recognize and resolve negative trends in quality control.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree/ post graduate diploma/ professional degree in Engineering (Industrial), Business Studies/Administration/Management or any related field.
  • At least 3 years at a plant in quality assurance holding a production leadership role.
  • Can demonstrate understanding of good manufacturing practices, documentation management and problem identification.
  • Strong math, writing and computer skills to support record-keeping, audit and performance metrics.
  • Experience in a furniture industry is an advantage.

ACCOUNTING & ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER

Role:

  • Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; Preparing an annual budget; Scheduling expenditures; Analyzing variances; Initiating corrective actions.
  • Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; Coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; Preparing special reports.

Accounts Payable Accountant

Role:

  • Review all invoices and billings for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
  • Review P.O. to match with invoices
  • Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
