WHAT IS PHILUX?

Founded in 1980, Philux is a proudly Filipino manufacturer and retailer of furniture. What started as a mom-and-pop business with two carpenters has now become a hundred-person team involved in production and retail.

Philux specializes in solid wood furniture pieces- local luxuries that can be passed on from generation to generation.

WHAT IS OUR PHILUXSOPHY?

Fine Filipino craftsmanship is the heart of Philux and this is where everything stems from- our passion for offering world class designs made from responsibly sourced materials, preserving traditional furniture making techniques through Filipino skills, and excellent service unlike any other.

To us, furniture should be personal as well as timeless.

WHAT KIND OF WOOD DOES PHILUX OFFER?

Philux offers different types of high quality wood in various finishes including plantation Mahogany, and FSC certified US Ash wood and Walnut wood that are responsibly sourced and FSC certified. Good quality veneers are also used depending on the needs of certain designs.

WHY ARE THERE VARIATIONS IN THE WOOD FINISHES?

Wood is a natural product and minimal variations in color and texture are normal and acceptable. Philux furniture is also susceptible to long-term discoloration due to exposure to the elements, particularly direct sunlight. Should a client request to match a color finish in a repeat furniture order, a sample piece is to be provided, for us to match the finish as closely as possible.

WHAT IS FSC?

FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council, an international non-profit organization established to promote responsible and sustainable management of the world’s forests. The FSC does this by setting standards on forest products and officially certifying them as eco-friendly and responsibly sourced.

CAN PHILUX CUSTOMIZE FURNITURE?

We can possibly accommodate custom design requests but only for larger quantities and depending on the design.

Philux specializes in personalizing your furniture pieces by offering different wood, finish, and fabric options as well as other features such as mattings, knobs, and metals. Philux can also recommend designs for your furniture requirement.

WHAT ARE YOUR MODES OF PAYMENT?

We accept full cash, check and credit card payments for orders made through our showroom.

Our online store, on the other hand, accepts bank deposit, credit card, and PayPal payments.

WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY IN FULL?

Your furniture piece/s will be produced especially for you, hence, we require full payment. This is so you will not be inconvenienced by delivery delays caused by pending balances.

Should your concern be quality, we can assure you that we are an established brand of over 40 years and we have a one year warranty for factory defects.

HOW MUCH IS YOUR DELIVERY CHARGE?

Philux provides free delivery within Metro Manila with a minimum sales order of Php15,000. Otherwise, a delivery fee is charged. Our Sales and Logistics Officer will contact the client to schedule the delivery. The delivery schedule will not proceed without the client’s confirmation. Any failure of delivery due to client’s responsibility will be charged to client. For deliveries outside Metro Manila, Philux requires a third-party trucking company with a corresponding fee depending on the location of delivery. Philux is not responsible for any damages incurred by the third-party trucking or client-organized transportation of furniture.

HOW SOON CAN PHILUX FURNITURE BE DELIVERED?

Our lead time for orders is 8 to 9 weeks and for off the floor pieces, it is 12-15 working days.

Each furniture piece is produced through traditional techniques and therefore, we can not rush its production. We allow our clients to personalize their Philux furniture piece to make it their very own.

DOES PHILUX SHIP OUTSIDE METRO MANILA AND INTERNATIONALLY?

Domestic Shipping

Yes, we do ship outside Metro Manila. We can handle packaging of your Philux pieces and work with trusted freight forwarders to make sure that your Philux pieces arrive in excellent condition. Delivery fee may vary based on location and the Philux items to be shipped.

International Shipping

Yes, Philux ships internationally. We can handle packaging of your Philux pieces and coordinate with your trusted freight forwarder to make sure that your Philux pieces arrive in excellent condition. Delivery fee may vary based on location and the Philux items to be shipped.

HOW DO I START A BRIDAL REGISTRY WITH PHILUX?

Philux wants to provide a unique bridal registry that caters specifically to your taste. Our bridal registry is offered at our Philux Home showroom in Shangri-La at The Fort. Please email us at sales@philux.ph and we will set an appointment with you to make your experience with us as personalized as possible.

DOES PHILUX REFURBISH FURNITURE PIECES?

We seek to establish a long-term relationship with its valued clients. Thus, we offer refurbishing services for 30% of the retail-selling price. Refurbishing can go from minor retouch works to full refurbishing including carpentry, wood color and upholstery. Your Philux piece will have a beautiful revival.

HOW DO I GO ABOUT RENTING PHILUX FURNITURE?

For furniture rental service, you may email your furniture requirements and information on lead time and location to sales@philux.ph and we will get back to you with a selection of available furniture pieces. You may also visit any of our showrooms and our sales account executive will be delighted to assist you with your leasing requirements.
