El Taganas is a Filipino abstract artist born in 1978 in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. His work is distinguished by richly textured surfaces and organic forms, often rendered in acrylics and modeling paste. Inspired by the quiet poetry of nature, Taganas transforms raw landscapes and fleeting natural elements into contemplative abstractions. His 13 years as a designer in the Middle East also lend a refined sense of structure and depth to his compositions, merging instinct with intention.
